Welcome to BTR820.
This is going to be an exciting course; we’ll be working on doing advanced research and writing.
It won’t be easy, but it’s not impossible. Let me give you a couple of tips:

  1. Don’t postpone writing the paper. Start right away. It’s just plain impossible to do it all in the last week of school.
  2. This is your chance to go deep into a subject. Choose something you love, and don’t hold back.
